Gingrich to stand by the people “created” statement

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP)-Republican Presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich said he supports the peace agreement between Israel and Palestine that includes two separate countries, but he did not step back Saturday from his statement that the Palestinian people “found”, the angry one propellant comment side in the Middle East peace process.

The burden to demonstrate a willingness to reach a peace agreement with Israel is located right by the Palestinians, he said.

“When the President goes on to talk about the peace process while Hamas keeps firing missiles into Israel, if we have a country the US firing missiles, how excited we are about to sit down and negotiate?” Gingrich to veterans forum in Des Moines, before participating in the nationally televised debates with other GOP 6 candidates vying for the presidential nomination.

Palestinian officials reacted angrily on Saturday for a statement accusing Gingrich, President of the Republic of sedition requires and accusations of “cheap action” to court the Jewish vote.

The statement struck at the heart of Palestinian sensitivities about the truth of their struggle for an independent State and put it in the opportunity not only to the international community, but with all but the extremists in Israel. Israel’s main, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, supported the idea of an independent Palestine alongside Israel as part of a final peace treaty.
